Typeset from British Library Add.MS 63160, f.44 Original music in pencil on three systems, without clefs or time signature, in Elgar's sketchbook 'VIII'. Inscribed 'for Dot's Nuns, 1906.' Elgar's sister Helen Agnes (1864-1939) was known to the family as Dot. In 1902 she entered St. Rose's Convent in Stroud, Gloucestershire, taught music there, and was appointed Mother General in 1919.
