Extra Information	First and discarded version of the National Anthem of Ecuador with a known author of the music and text. This anthem originally featured the lyrics of Olmedo's "Canción Nacional", written between 1830 and 1832 and published in 1834. The lyrics were considered unsuitable with the music and were changed to Juan León Mera's lyrics the same year of composition, 1865. The music was slightly changed in the version with Mera's lyrics, but I was unable to find a score with Olmedo's lyrics. MSQE43058402.
