Extra Information Obra compuesta para ser adoptada como himno institucional de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral. La letra fue seleccionada mediante concurso literario (31 jul 1937) y adoptada por resolución del 23 oct 1937; el concurso musical fue declarado desierto (18 dic 1937) y la música fue encargada al profesor Honorio Siccardi. La primera ejecución pública tuvo lugar el 23 abr 1938, en el acto de inauguración de los cursos, por la Orquesta Sinfónica de Santa Fe, cantada por el tenor Pedro Mirassou; la interpretación fue precedida por una exposición del compositor sobre su obra.

An ongoing project is currently underway to survey, study, systematize, and enhance the value of the musical scores preserved at the Archivo Histórico Musical “Honorio Siccardi”, located in the city of Dolores, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. This work is being carried out collaboratively by the Equipo de archivo y estudio, composed of María Gabriela Siccardi, Ana María Otero, Lucio Bruno-Videla, Sebastián Arancibia Navarro, and Gerardo Delgado. The aim of this project is to preserve, document, undertake a critical review, and disseminate the work of Honorio Siccardi, respecting historical sources and promoting public access to his music.
