Navigation etc.
J.M. Gomis == José Melchor Gomis (1791-1836), composer presumably of something called "Revenant" (or, since it was also the name of a contemporary music journal of the 1830s - I think?... something...??, maybe melodies published in there that were by Gomis.) - not really sure.
- Le revenant (German name: Das Gespenst), libretto by Jean-Baptiste Albert de Calvimont de Saint-Robert (1804–1858), indeed seemed to be a 2- or 3-act opéra comique that premiered at the Théâtre de l'Opéra-Comique-Bourse on 31 December 1833.

- See BnF score of the opera, saying that it is instead an opéra fantastique en cinq tableaux
