This small piece for choir was written about 1916 - Ludolf Nielsen used the same paper for this score as in Op.55, which was written around the year 1916. The librettist Gunnar Styhr Boye, a bank clerk, is completely unknown. Perhaps he was a friend of Ludolf Nielsen, but that's just a guess.
