The parts include 1st and 2nd violins, viola, cello, bass, but the string parts do not include the 16-bar introduction in the piano part, and the string parts also have the subtitle "Polka-Marche d'après la Chanson de Polin, so it seems the string version is separate and "based on" the vocal/piano version.
