Aria "Raggio, che tremolo vibri" has been identified as the part of opera "Licida e Mopso" thanks to the libretto held today at Biblioteca del Liceo Musicale in Bologna, as well as the information shown on the top of the first page of the MS.
This work was originally described as Pastorala a tre voci (Masque for three voices), and has three characters. It was first sung by Lucrezia Agujari (Amarilli - high soprano), Giuseppe Millico (Licida - soprano castratto) i Gaetano Ottani (Mopso - tenor).
