“Liverpudlian Snapshots” is a series of pieces for saxophone quartet that can be defined as an anti-touristic description of the city of Liverpool. Anti-touristic because it is focused on the composer’s daily life experience as a foreigner living in a different country and that may differ from a day-tripper’s point-of-view. Each segment is autonomous and attempts to musically represent visual and sound aspects from different sites, like musical pictures of the city.
