May well be based on music from the 1863 "Lustspiel in 1 Akt" "Der Lockvogel, oder : Dieses Landhaus ist zu verkaufen!" by Heinrich Böie.

Hrm. A contemporary (apparently also 1879?) scan (published by Schuberth also, but apparently not typeset?) at LoC (containing both this polka and the Greetings to America March) has a much larger orchestral complement than this quintet.
