Composed initially for my wife who had taken up the oboe, but had to relinquish the instrument for medical reasons... I have revised the work, and added a third movement to the original diptych.

When reviewing this work in January 2021, a number of flaws were apparent, so it had to be replaced with a new, decidedly improved, version. These 3 short pieces are quite distinct in style. A version for oboe d'amore has been added.
A fourth short piece (2 pp.) was added to the latest printout version (total page number must be divisible by 4 for A3 pages to be stapled after folding).
