Misc. Notes Originally commissioned by an Anglican Cleric to "wake the waiting congregation" at the start of early-morning Mass. The Gregorian Missal (1990) and Proper for the Mass (2014) list these texts for 4th and 6th Sundays of Easter. The Liber Brevior (1954) and the Liber Usualis (1963) list these texts for 2nd and 5th Sundays after Easter.
