Perplexed is a piece I composed during a week filled with emotion due a rather difficult experience faced by a loved one. Throughout the week I experienced feelings of anxiety, sadness, fear as well as peace and hope. This piece served as a way for me to express some of those feelings.
Perplexed is a brief piece written in the form of a passacaglia with a repeating subject in the bass line (pedal part) over which variations are played on the manuals.
