Orchestral accompaniment is optional. May have been performed in the 19th century but no such performance is presently known. 2-piano arrangement performed in 1904 was not made by Berwald, but copied in 1904 in manuscript by Gustav Heintze (a copy is at Sweden's LIBRIS.)
