The theme of the Allegretto grazioso second movement is the basis of the "Variations on a Theme by Josef Labor" which concludes Franz Schmidt's quintet (no.2) for clarinet, piano left-hand, and strings in A major of 1938. (Schissel)
Recorded in 2005 on Cedille, with Walter Rabl's opus 6 quartet. (The notes to that recording make no mention of Schmidt anywhere, at all.)
