Misc. Comments

Possibly published around the same time as the concerto opus 40, which occurred no later than around 1805 (it's mentioned in a list of available works, along with opus 48 - a piano, oboe, strings quintet- and a work that may be opus 41 but is not given an opus number (right under the Danzi and Dussek quintets opus 41. Opus 41 composed sometime around the time opus 40 was, probably? (last year of the composer's life. Posthumously published in both cases.) Note: actually published 1808 it seems, but still, slightly posthumously...

A copy of the 1808 first edition is @ Beethoven-Haus Bonn library. (Not digitized. But see Permalink.)
