"New" in September 11 1824 AMZ, so 1824 (not 1823 as was in Kistner plate table). Also appears in 1824 "Handbuch der musikalischen Literatur" and not earlier editions? fwiw. Composed around 1824 too according to MacDonald's 2011 notes to Jones' recording (volume 3, Nimbus).
