style seems an attempt at a classical organ work (or in its chorale-evoking way, a bit earlier?...) rather than anything in any of the major schools (French, German, etc.) of Romantic organ music, e.g. (with the proviso as usual that as one's seen and heard, an attempt to "recreate" an earlier style never really succeeds, with the exception of the simplest works on the level of (say) pseudo-Czerny/Hanon etudes, etc.) - Schissel
