Google estimates 1827, but it's unclear where exactly they've estimated this date, and not say 1826, 1828, etc. from. It is mentioned in Whistling 1828: "do en Caprice. Oe. 32. Ebend." - "do" = Potpourri, from the preceding line; Ebend.=André from 2 lines before that (p.407) (Handbuch der musikalischen Literatur: oder allgemeines... , volume 1) so- by 1828, in any case? - Schissel
