This is the original published version of F. Melius Christiansen's three movement motet PSALM 50. Composed in 1922, it was first published soon afterward but the Augsburg Publishing House did not consistently write copyright dates for its publications in the early 20th century. Current published editions of this work omit movement I, and have slight revisions to movement II and III to reflect current St. Olaf Choir performance practice as it has evolved over the years.
