There were two XIX century harpists, probably related, bearing that name, according to Music Sack : Prumier, Ange Conrad Antoine (b. 1820 d. 1884) and Prumier, Antoine (b. 1794 d. 1868 a. 1830-1831). The present work can be attributed to the latter with some degree of certainty (possible date for the edition : ca.1820? and the dedicatee, necessarily young and one of this harp professor's most rewarding pupils, might be the Zoë Claire DE VIGNOLLE (1801-1877) who figures in one Geneanet family tree)
