Cover indicates 3 pieces planned for series: no titles given for numbers 2 & 3 in this issue.
No.1 only was reviewed, with the two Schoumka piano pieces, in the February 1, 1896 Musical Times, London. One is left in some doubt as to whether Nos. 2 and 3 were in fact issued? - Schissel (Pazdirek 1904(?) does list 3, but see above: we have the other two already. Arguably the Valse champetre should be separated out and Scènes russes/Ruskija sceny/Russian Scenes put in "Collections".)
