Nielsen composed the music for Oehlenschläger's play in great haste in May 1913. According to his own account, he only had fourteen days to do the work. I Maaneskin titter. : Af "Sankt Hans-aften spil" published in 1932. CNW 340 notes that there were plans for publication; WorldCat and others seem to indicate publications occurred.
