Choral setting for SATB on John Francis Wade's Tune ST THOMAS. Hommage à Max Reger. The arranger writes: "As I composed it for a specific hymn of our Swiss church, I took the words out of the sheet music in order to allow IMSLP users to write their text in (for this purpose I also uploaded the Engraving file by Finale). It is always difficult with church hymns because of the different text versions for one tune - this one is used for e.g. "Christ is made the sure foundation", "Jesus came, the heavens' adoring", "Lo! He comes with clouds descending", "Tantum ergo sacramentum"... So I gave it the title of the tune: ST THOMAS (https://hymnary.org/tune/st_thomas_wade)."
