A fair copy of an unknown composition for string quartet (?). At the end of the score Bretón wrote the whole length of the piece: 145 measures. Of these, only the last 53 are present. Apparently, the score misses another sheet (4 pages). The Roman numeral "II" probably means this is the second sheet. While the fragment is in D major, it begins with the change of the key from 3 to 2 sharps.
