Navigation etc.
There are at least 5 string quartets, with the 5th doing double-duty (see the description at the NMI Manuscript Archives) as a miniature opera without voices of sorts) - "Pierrot/un opera / En Cinq actes Minuscule / pour / 2 Violons Alto et Violoncelle / par / B Hollander / 5e quator". NMI has the autograph score to this 2nd quartet (filed as 532/028) (and at least one other string quartet of his, no.4 in D minor, in manuscript parts, besides.)
(Cornell has the first quartet Op.20 in published parts.)
First London performance was given by the Geloso Quartet on January 20, 1913 in Bechstein Hall. (See: Musical Times & Singing-Class Circular, February 1, 1913, p.116 (gives date and location but not which quartet was performed); NZfM, 1913, pp.155-56 (provides this additional information and adds "novität für London"- presumably, London premiere?.))
