Navigation etc.

  • Although the Boston edition above claims that The Lemon Blossom Waltz is from The Language of Flowers, details on the full contents of The Language of Flowers at WorldCat, does not list this waltz.
  • The WorldCat link above also claims that The Language of Flowers was for orchestra, and arranged for piano by Czerny. Therefore it is possible that this was also originally for orchestra, which is plausible, considering that Lanner's other waltzes were also for orchestra, and he ran an orchestra himself. If The Language of Flowers originally had (or later added) more waltzes, it could still be from that set. Tagged as for orchestra for now, but there are a couple of mysteries here that would be cleared up with a 1st edition or manuscript.
