Extra Information difficult but rewarding piece for the adventurous tubist. The piano part is also quite demanding.

Navigation etc.

A modern piece that is quite tonal, it moves quickly between keys. The first movement is fairly quick, with a slow section in the middle, and entitled: Joyous Orlando. The second movement is slow and reflective, and is called: Love and Sadness. The third movement is called Orlando Strong and is a powerful 12/8 that tips its hat to Afro Cuban influences, mixed with more northern, Prokofiev like colors.

I also have this piece scored for tuba, brass quintet and woodwind quintet, and I am working on a full orchestra version as well.
