Misc. Comments

According to Brown, both sets of themes and variations Opp.6 and 8 were composed during his first twelve months in Gotha (so between August 1805 and August 1806) as were three of his sonatas for violin and harp (in C minor 1805, B-flat Op.16 1806 and E-flat Op.113 1806) and his scena and aria "Oskar".
