Being a person aspiring to be a composer, i hope that my work can inspire melodies, style or anything. It would honor me if you take it, or tweak it, or borrow some or all of it as that's my goal.
Movement I – Depression (Adagio): A somber, expressive exploration of pain and yearning, with the solo viola’s melancholic voice carrying the emotional weight.
Movement II – Resolution (Andante): A reflective movement embodying serenity and acceptance, though tinged with lingering grief in the bassline.
The solo viola was chosen to reflect the numbed, muted voice of long-term depression — too low in energy to cry out like a violin, yet unable to ground or release fully like a cello. Its dry, middle register mirrors my own emotional state through years of silent suffering: suspended, subdued, and barely voicing pain.
