The second flute and first horn parts are missing for the third movement. Flute part was reconstructed by Dr. Dennette McDermott and Horn part reconstructed by Dr. Drew Stephen.

The third movement titled” Le Deserter,” uses the same tune from the opera by Pierre-Alexandre Monsigny, premiered in 1769 in Paris.

The cadenza in the second movement is included in the original manuscript. All markings are intended to be true to the manuscript.
