• According to Deutsch (pp.251-252), ms. "unknown, Former owner: Eduard Schneider, Vienna (c.1870)". (as in lost?) (Deutsch also contains the publication and premiere information, etc.)
• The title "duo" comes from the publisher Diabelli, posthumously, not from Schubert.
• Published in 1851 but not performed until 1864???
