Appears in Whistling's Handbuch der musikalischen Literatur volume 1 of 1828 (p465), so not (first) published in 1829, though perhaps published earlier (op40 is also included on this page.) Even better estimate- mentioned in the new releases/newly arrived section of a March 1826 AMZ along with Reissiger's opus 29 (piano quartet), 34 (cello variations) and 35 (violin variations).
