- vil weys hat er gemessen
- mit lobleichen don.
(Translation: I did not make the tunes to these songs myself. I don't want to deceive you; someone else composed them merrily and with laughter. if I am to tell you, I'll tell you properly: Burk Mangolt composed (made) the tunes, my faithful servant. He lives in Bregenz and has served me well. He had composed many a tune with pleasant sound.)
