Misc. Notes Has two printed title-pages, suggesting a book of blank stave-ruled paper, as sold by many music publishers. --Fynnjamin 09:23, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
partially manuscript, partially contains signs from early publications - date of 1832 rather later than last publications, let alone these early ones, by the composers, suggesting not unusual habit of late return to early works for revision, perhaps...

Grove Music lists only the op.6 sonatas as being for either piano or harpsichord -- all others are for piano only.

The title is as it appears in the Trésor des Pianistes. --Fynnjamin 09:23, 2 April 2011 (UTC)

BNF has a ca.1795 print of these. In 1795 "for piano only" might have been somewhat overlimiting (less so than in, say, 1780, but...). Also, 2.023 is Op.41, isn't it (CZ-Pk 4925)? No.2 in the manuscript is the same as Op.8 No.2 in the Trésor edition, and No.1 in the manuscript is Op.41 in that link... odd, or maybe not so odd (possibly) republished with new opus number? - ES
