The 1998 Hofmeister edition treats the bassoon and trombone versions as original instrumentations, but there is a pre-existing 1946 publication for trombone that was arranged by Franz Dreyer; thus, it is possible that both the bassoon and trombone versions are arrangements not done by Hause.
