Capriccio no.1 in A minor was published and noticed in HMB in 1906 p.18. (The first capriccio won an award that year which may have allowed its early publication.??)

However, based on plate nos. and a couple of other things would actually guess 1917. Will see if I can get better evidence . Hindmarsh gives 1905/07/15 for premiere date (Harold Samuel, Bechstein Hall), publication date 1906 (as a pair, 1917 by Augener separately), etc.
