This series consisted of at least 61 compositions intended for use as accompaniment for silent movies and was issued by Carl Fischer starting in 1916. Works were published for small orchestra with piano (flute, first clarinet, 2 cornets, trombone, drums, first and second violins, viola, cello, bass, and piano) with additional parts (second clarinet, oboe, bassoons, and horns) for full orchestra with piano. Certain numbers included an ad lib. organ part.
