According to the title page, the work consists of 24 pieces, but both tables of contents (the entire opus is divided into two separate volumes) show only 23 numbers (number 14 is missing). However, in another edition of the same work, there is an alternative number 2, so that this number is assigned twice. A footnote hints that one piece was omitted in the edition of 1959.
