This work is most likely NOT public domain in either Canada and other countries where the term is life+50 years (like China, Hong Kong, New Zealand and many others worldwide), or the EU and in countries where the copyright term is life+70 years. However, as this work was first published before 1928 or failed to meet notice or renewal requirements, it is almost certainly public domain in the USA and is therefore hosted on an American server for US residents only. |

In the USA this work is most likely in the public domain because it was published without a compliant copyright notice, no renewal was found after a thorough search of the Catalog of Copyright Entries and it was apparently ineligible for "restoration" under GATT/TRIPS.

According to the editor, the autograph manuscript of the score, in the form of a concerto grosso, only one copy of which is known to exist, is in the British Museum (Add.MS.17836). It belonged to Vincent Novello who presented it to the Museum as a gift in 1849.
