Because most of my transcriptions are never heard before, I decided to make a simple computer synthesized audio file for hearing control.

Misc. Notes
|
If performed I would look forward about a small reference to my efforts. *Due to the large differences in tempo, I suggest an alternative solution for plucked instruments such as guitar or lute. I halved the note values of the first part. But in order not to destroy the character of the second part with the racy runs, I suggest a very high tempo like Allegro molto or Vivace. Just like the old masters. Just do your best!

This piece was originally intended for organ: according to Grove, it was "written in response to Mersenne’s request for something that would show what could be done at the organ’".
Racquet's "Œuvres complètes" were published though without copyright notice (so unclear date) in the 1960s- if true to name, then this has been published.
