MeyS catalogue -- Ernst Hermann Meyer (1934, Kassel), Die mehrstimmige Spielmusik des 17. Jahrhunderts in Nord- und Mitteleuropa. Mit einem Verzeichnis der deutschen Kammer- und Orchesterwerke des 17. Jahrhunderts in Heidelberger Studien zur Musikwissenschaft. Meyer is also perhaps known for his book English chamber music, the history of a great art from the middle ages to Purcell (pub.1946) and his editions of English chamber music of the period.

The 2 copies suggest that the fantasy should be played by a diverse consort - the LoC copy is partitioned (so to speak) for 5 gambas, "G-2, G-2, C-2, C-3, F-3"; the Oxford copy is for "s-vla da gamba 1, 2, a-vla da gamba, t-vla da gamba, b-vla da gamba" according to RISM.
