G.B. Wagner was a short-lived firm founded by Gustav Bruno Wagner when he took over the Robert Seitz publishing business, effective 1 January 1879[1]. Only seven months later, on 1 July 1879, Wagner sold most of the company (including the entire Robert Seitz catalogue) to F. Ries, but reserved the right to continue publishing new works that were issued since January 1[2].
It is unclear how long Wagner operated this publishing business, but its only HMB entries are from May to June 1879.
