Navigation etc.

A masque performed by Theophilus Cibber's company in honor of the marriage of William, Prince of Orange, and Anne, Princess Royal. According to Gilman's The Theater Career of Thomas Arne (2013): "The name of the masque was then changed to The Festival for all subsequent performances...it proved popular, playing eleven nights total through December." Gilman also notes that only three songs survive (the selections above).
