History
Music publishing company founded in 1902 by Karl Lauterbach and Max Kuhn. In 1908, the firm was purchased by Bote & Bock. In 1903 they started publishing posthumous works by Hugo Wolf (1860-1903). They also publised many Max Reger first editions: most of his works from op.66 to op.103, including three of the composer’s greatest variation sets, on themes by Bach (op.81), Beethoven (op.86) and Hiller (op.100).
