Misc. Notes

To be clear, this is not an item but rather a quadrille-fantasy on various motifs from the ballet (so not a selection but an arrangement.) Likewise, another quadrille from motifs of the ballet in full orchestral parts by another composer has been uploaded by BNF.

Misc. Notes
|
Presumably the same(?) Rosellen arrangement was published in 1846 in Paris at the above Bureau central de musique, place de la Bourse Publication noted in the Bibliographie de la France 1e série, 35e année (49e de la collection), Nº 12, 21 Mars 1846, p.148, r.59. . An arrangement by Rosellen of the polka from this ballet has been digitized, see WorldCat. The location (Omenomi 1720) dates this publication ca.1867-ca.1880; the plate suggests ca.1882.
