Misc. Notes Cohen published Jensens' Opp.22 and 23 in 1886. Wernthal typically used a plate number prefix of O.W. and acquired Cohen in 1899 so this is most likely a reprint of the first edition by Cohen.

Although not numbered Op.24 represented Jensen's second suite for violin and piano in order of composition (Op.3 being No.1 and Op.25 being No.3).

Performance in Köln - see NZM, 20 Apr. 1887, p.176. Listed in NZM (as first time in Bonn, and as Op.27 in A major) again in 1887 (23 June 1887 issue, p.281).

The proper French would be Suite moderne, of course.

There is also a 1902 Wernthal publication, which can be distinguished in part by the price on the cover (6 Mk as opposed to 8 Mk here).
