Extra Information This song, attributed to Anne Boleyn as she was awaiting execution in the Tower of London, was transcribed by Arnold Dolmetsch in 1898 from a lute tablature version published in 1611. The current version was published in Dolmetch's book Select English Songs and Dialogues of the 16th and 17th Centuries (Boosey, 1898)
