The C3 part of the Pavan does not go below violin range and could be done by either violin or viola. The C3 part of the Gagliarda goes to a low F, and cannot be played by a violin.
The basso part is the 4th part, so cello alone may be sufficient.
Since violin family instruments are not explicitly named, and this is rather early for such combinations, they have not been tagged. Books 2 and 5 name viols in the title, and Farina was court violist.
