One of the WorldCat entries says this was originally for orchestra. However, there is also WorldCat that is a manuscript, which is more likely to be the original. It is for 2 pianos. Tagged as such for now, but subject to correction.

--Why is the manuscript more likely to be the original? A handwritten copied arrangement (by any hand!) of the printed score for 2 pianos would be listed as a "manuscript"- and this is not rare. - Schissel
