This file is based on high-resolution images obtained from the source using a method explained on this page. F. Ries of Dresden operated from 1875 to 1881(ca.?) (during the same period that Robert Seitz operated). This Ries publication is not found in Hofmeister's Monatsberichte. The price and the engraving are identical to the Seitz edition. Op.9 is in E minor. As Thieriot's worklist needs filling out, it may be of course that there are other piano quartets by Thieriot and this might not be only the 2nd, or may have been composed earlier.
